Hello my Family and Friends!!
It has been a little while since I've been able to send a group email out. The internet here is terrible and since I don’t have a lot of time to type out the emails, I’ve been writing out the group email and taking a picture of it the night before and then my mom types them out and sends them after she gets the downloaded picture. But the internet barely sends emails, let alone pictures so there you go.
This week we were in divisions all week which was a little bit exhausting but it’s ok because today we are going to be able to go to the temple! These should be the last divisions of the transfers but we will see how things go.
This week will baptize Gabriel!!! He is so sweet and actually was a foreign exchange student in the US. He lived in the family of Mormons while he was in the US. We baptized his girlfriend, Andrea last transfer with her son and they are hoping to get married! He loves the gospel and the temple where we brought him this week. He fasted all on his own too and it was so sweet.
We also have an investigator that is obsessed with us – like 17 missed calls obsessed. I’m not sure how that is going to go…
My comp and I gave our trainings to our zone last week too which was awesome. We talked about personal and inner strengths. As the church’s General Relief Society President, Sister Smoot taught that one way to develop inner strength is by having unity within our families and callings. In the Doctrine and Covenants we read:
27 Behold, this I have given unto you as a parable, and it is even as I am. I say unto you, be one; and if ye are not one ye are not mine.
Sister Smooth also taught that when we put aside our differences and value each others’ strengths, great things will happen.
I’m so grateful for the things I’m learning here and I’m so grateful for each of you! Have a wonderful week!
