Hello everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe I am already headed into my 11th transfer haha but I am supér excited!! How is life up in the States??? Today is the best day but also the worst day because GUESS WHO I AM WITH RIGHT NOW... Sister Cidade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ahhhhh yessss its like Alma and Ammon when they found each other again. I actually started crying when I saw her again and we are staying together until Wednsday because she is waiting for her new companion to get here!
My new companion is Sister Trindade and she is from Santa Catarina in the South of Brazil. She's really nice so I'm excited. This will be her first transfer as a Sister Training leader so I am excited to get to show her the ropes. We are staying here in the area and are still waiting to hear what sisters we will be looking after. I have two awesome zone leaders that I know so this transfer is gonna rock.
Remember Olavo from last week that we baptized?? He got his first calling! He is the librarian - so cute huh?? His whole family came to church and we are pryaing so hard for his wife to receive an answer to her prayers so she can also be baptized. She said that we have been an answer to her prayers and that she finally found the right place for her and her famiy at our church but she just doesn't want to be baptized yet.
This week we were able to baptize Andreia and Gulherme!! I love them soooo much. Gulherme is the smartest kid in the world and has been counting down the days for his baptism. Andreia grew up in the church but was never baptized because of different circumstances but it's been so incredible to see the change in her over the last couple weeks that we have been preparing. She is super excited to get her first calling and said `im just ready to give all i am and have to the kingdom of god.`
I am super happy here in Brazil and as I continue with my mission I feel like the Lord has been filling a whole inside of me that I never knew exisited. He's blessed me with amazing friends in this part of the world and shown and taught me so many lessons on love and happiness. I know with all my heart that this is the work of the Lord. He loves us so much and is fulfilling His promise to me of how great our joy is when we bring souls to Him. Never forget your Father in Heaven loves you and is doing everything He can to bring you back to Him. He sent His only begotten Son to lead and guide us and show us the way and He is able to help us in our greatest hour of need.
I love you all so much! Thank you for your thoughts and prayers
I came across this quote this week and hope everyone can be the answer to someones prayer this week :)
“In the end, the number of prayers we say may contribute to our happiness, but the number of prayers we answer may be of even greater importance.”
