Hey guys!! Thanks for all the emails and love and support. You guys rock! :) My email time now is so so short - I'm sorry I can't email back all the time and sometimes the emails don't send like they should from the lan houses.
(Lately Sister Arbuckle has been writing out her group email on Sunday and then takes a picture of it to send on P-day to try and save time)
This week....was just the best. Olavo and Samira are officially the newest family in the Adrianopolis ward :) Their baptism was so spiritual and made us all cry. Olavo received the priesthood last week and got permission to baptize his wife and it was the sweetest experience. His first baptism! She only went down three times....but it's all good! Diana was also baptized! She is the best, funniest girl ever. The poor thing had to wear super tight baptism clothes - our options are always low but it all worked out!
So yeah...I'm happier than happy welcoming our new family who were just a street contact into the ward along with Diana and her daughter (who calls us "as sistas") haha.
I was able to spend part of the week with Sister Cidade which can I just say how much I love and miss her so much. But after she picked up her new companion they went back out to Porto Velho. We were officially given the title of the happiest sisters in the mission haha.
I got to drive Sister Castro's car this week which was hilarious. #scaredtodeath
I also had an interview with my President Castro! It was actually my last interview before my final one when I come home... yeah what? We aren't even talking about that at all.
But the interview was awesome. I asked him if we could have a training of all the sisters this transfer to help increase morale. He said of course... and then asked me to take charge of it. But it will be fun to work with Sister Castro. He also gave me some advice about living my last few transfers which was great.
One bummer side note - a man threw up a foot away from me on a jammed packed 100 degree bus ride #onlyinmanaus
I love each of you and feel so much gratitude for the gospel.
I hope we all can be examples “of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity” (1 Timohy 4:12).
