Hey guys!!!! Well it's true... today is my mission birthday of 9 months and I am so excited but also sad that my journey is already halfway over. I know that I still have so many things to do here. It has definitely gone by so much faster than I thought and it will just continue to fly.
I was able to spend the day at the temple today with our mission president and his wife and our zone! I love them so much - it was a perfect day! I love being in the temple.
I also got my hump day packages today from my family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It made me so so so so so so so happy! Seriously though it was funny because my comp helped me open them and the first thing I grabbed was your letter Mom and my comp made a comment about how special those are. I miss you guys so much :)
And I got sweet Luke's letter! It was the cutest thing ever!!!!!!
This week was really good! It was a little cooler thank goodness! It should start raining here pretty soon which will be a miracle!!!
My comp and I spent much of this week at the doctors because she is having some serious problems with her knees but it's looking like she will be able to continue to stay on her mission! So we are super excited.
We were able to bring a lot of our investigators to church this week thanks to the help of the members. We are so super grateful. After our week of sanctification my comp and I have been able to recognize so many miracles. We are so lucky! Everyday something awesome happened and we know these are blessings that have come from the Lord. One day two investigators that we taught a while ago stopped us and asked when we could stop by again so we did. We invited them to church again and they came!! Then we received several references from the ward and we are working so hard to be able to baptize them this week. Yay! The blessings from being obedient are so real :)
I was reading in Isaiah this week and came across this scripture:
They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.
After the intense heat that we've had over the past several weeks, this scripture gave me so much comfort. It made me realize that Heavenly Father really is aware of our needs and knows the best way to touch our hearts.
That's all I have time for this week. I love you all!
